Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love to come to school to learn and experience all that we do in third grade. The first day of school will be here before we know it, and I would like to have some essential supplies in place before they arrive.

I teach a wonderful class of twenty-five third-graders.

We are a Title I, low-performing school with a majority of English Language Learners. The school is providing less and less of the supplies that I need, and my families are not able to purchase the many supplies that we need. I really want to give them the tools to feel welcome in our classroom. Help me give my students the tools they need to start the school year off right!

My Project

Having folders, markers, desktop organizers, and Champion Sports Plastic Frisbees when my students return to school in August will help them feel welcome and ready to begin third grade!

Folders are especially important for my students to use for homework, classwork, and to keep their desks neat.

Frisbees are one of my students' favorite PE activities, and last year they all disappeared! Having enough, brand-new frisbees to start of our new-year PE class will be so appreciated by my students.

I know that these supplies will be appreciated by students and their families. Help me give my students the tools they need to start the school year off right!
