This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A well-structured morning routine sets the tone for the entire day. Play-doh is an essential part of our morning routine, this hands-on material allows students to ease into the classroom and get ready for our morning meeting. Each day students use their binders and whiteboard markers to write their names, date, day of the week and work our number of the day. The binders and bright colored paper are an essential part of our daily routine. With daily practice, students get more comfortable and confident with writing their name, date and with math concepts.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Our current binders are in need of a refresh, and growing class sizes also have contributed to a need of more supplies.
