This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I am requesting will help me decorate my classroom and make it a better math learning environment. Throughout my years of teaching, I have focused on teaching content and left the classroom decorations on the side. This year I want to do both. I believe students get motivated in an organized and content-decorated classroom. The items will also last long for many years as most are reusable.
Additionally, other items on the list like the hanging baskets and magnetic rods will help me implement a system of student daily self-reflection (exit tickets).
