My Students
I am a teacher in a special education classroom in a Title I school. The students at our school come from mostly low-income households that do not have much to spare for the classroom environment.
My students are all special individuals that deserve every opportunity as any other student in the school.
Each student has many needs that differ from student to student. I want to provide as much for them as I can, but I am limited in what I am able to do for the class.
My Project
These items will help me significantly. The drawer organizer will be used to organize student work. The markers, crayons, paper, and glue will be used for our classroom projects. The food items will be snacks for a variety of field trips throughout the year. The 3 ring binders will be for my students to store their work. The dividers will help them keep everything organized. The pencil pouches will allow them to be responsible for their own materials each day.
My students need all the materials that will be used in our day to day activities and projects.
Due to the socioeconomic status of our families, I am unable to send home a school supply shopping list with my students. Having these items will help me set up my students for success on the first day of school!
