Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project supports learning supplies for my students in the upcoming school year. This includes markers, color-coded materials, pencils, and other materials needed for their learning success. We use these materials daily in the classroom and they are essential to our everyday learning. The color-coded and labeled materials will allow my students with disabilities to organize their thinking, keep track of their belongings/learning materials, and aid their memories. It sets them up for academic success!
Our school is located in one of the nation's poorest congressional districts, where families are facing economic hardship and struggling to provide learning essentials for their children.
