My Students
The students at my school come from a variety of different backgrounds. What they do have in common is their love for learning. I have a classroom full of eager readers that come to school each and every day ready to try new things and grasp new concepts.
My students’ desire to learn and grow is what encourages me to continue writing grants.
I know that with your help, my students will make a difference in our school and community.
My Project
Our classroom will benefit immensely from the variety of school supplies and books found in this grant.
We are in need of several new read-aloud mentor texts, such as Mo Willems Knuffle Bunny series.
My students always love Mo Willems books, so I have no doubt these will be a big hit.
We are also in need of products such as command hooks to hang our classroom needs, expo markers, and new clipboards that can also be used as whiteboards. We always are encouraging our kids to write, so this is a great combination.
There are a few more items in this grant to help our kids get their "wiggles" out. I included a wiggle seat cushion and chair bands for students to use.
