I am teaching Primary Autism class and my autism students have movement and communication differences, they may struggle to answer questions and express ideas in traditional ways. Some students might be unable to "find" the words needed to answer comprehension questions (or any question for that matter).
The Magnetic Picture Pockets and printing modified flash cards will allow my students to get to know each other by engaging in exciting and fun activities and comprehend more.
The students will be able to begin recognizing the students in the classroom. The HP Printer will help my students practice critical foundational skills needed to be successful in Primary Autism class printing different modified flash cards that will target their comprehension skills. The HP printer will allow my students to work in small cooperative groups that will help build relationships in the classroom. The additional ink will ensure that my students have the necessary materials throughout the year to continue to build and foster positive relationships in the classroom.
I would like to provide my students with a positive and fun year in Primary Autism class. I want my students to develop a love and admiration for school.
