This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After my first year of teaching under my belt, I know what my students are going to need!
This year, I'll be teaching Transitional Kindergarten for a full year, instead of half.
That means double the materials!
I've doubled my sensory bin plans and am wanting to bring even more joy to TK. I added beans and Easter grass, and I know they'll love the sensory bin ideas I have for them!
As well as new supplies and materials for is to use. These little ones go through supplies, fast! So I'm looking forward to having enough to last the whole year, and adding things that I didn't have last year.
Last year our headphones and pencil sharpener went out and we also ran out of expo markers. I added these to our project to hopefully last us through the year.
This year we got a new math curriculum. And it was recommended that we get a wireless clicker. I added this to our project to use with our math PowerPoints. I also added a wireless doorbell to use in our class this year. I want to use this as an attention getter with my TK students.
Lastly, I added a few supplies that would be beneficial to have. Including pens, white out, scissors and a binder to hold curriculum.
