Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I will be teaching in New York City where students are given few school supplies.
There are some supplies such as colored pencils, chart paper, and dry erase markers that are essential for learning in an elementary classroom.
Dry erase markers are mostly used to work out math problems. These will be especially beneficial for my students as they begin to learn multiplication.
The chart paper and markers will be used to create colorful visuals to help aid student learning in all subjects. They will also be used to promote collaborative group work among students.
