This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
With nineteen students, each with their own individual personality, coming to school every day is truly an adventure!

Located in a low-income neighborhood, many of my students love coming to school, getting breakfast, and a warm lunch while learning about different things throughout the day. Not only do they get the structure they desire, but they get to interact with their peers while learning SEL skills that they will take with them into adulthood.
My desire is to support my students in all that they do, provide a fun and creative work environment, and teach them the skills to be the best possible student they can be.
My Project
Starting back to school in August will be a new experience for teachers and students. Being able to start the new year with nameplates to help students social distance and have their own spot for their pencil and name tag is the perfect way to introduce student's own personal spaces while still being able to sit at tables and desks.
When beginning a new school year it's also important to have new supplies to have within the classroom.
Book bins, literacy games, and nametags will not only help my students become excited for their first day of school, it will brighten the classroom and help them have an organized library.
