Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 adorable five-year-old kindergarten students. All my students have been participating in remote learning at home. Therefore, this will be their first experience in school. Most of them are happy to come, but few are sad to leave their parents.
We love to express our emotions by drawing and writing in a notebook.
We are learning to organize our materials and be responsible for our belongings.
Most of all, we are excited to come to school to learn and meet our friends.
My Project
This new school year of 2021-22, I would like to stock up with the most essential materials for my students.
My students will need journal books to write all about who they are.
It will be a must-have supply for us to express our thoughts and feelings. Since it is a notebook, students will be able to see their own progress.
Another material that students will need is a folder where students can organize their activity papers. Color-coded folders will help with grouping the students and filing papers.
With the materials that you fund, my classroom will be equipped to start a successful new school year!
