Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 adorable five-year-old kindergarten students. All my students have been participating in remote learning at home. They have not had the experiences of being in school with other students. They are excited but don't know how to behave in class.
One thing that motivates my students is recognizing positive behaviors with rewards and treasure toys.
Since they have not had the socialization skills, learning to get along with others will be an essential part of the curriculum this year.
My Project
This new school year of 2021-22, I would like to stock up with the most essential materials that can motivate my students.
The first and the most important classroom must-haves are stickers, toys, and awards to reward positive behaviors and motivate learning.
I would like to send home comments on Post It notes and award students with certificates to share with the family.
Display of student work on the bulletin boards with plastic pouches and laminated artwork will also help my students take ownership of the class.
With the materials that you fund, my classroom will be equipped to start a new school year! Thank you for your generous donation.
