My Students

I work to empower every student to be best and find their voice. Every student is motivated to develop and enhance his abilities, gifts, and strengths in academics, performing arts, science, or athletics. My students work hard and strive to reach beyond the stars, because there’s no limit in the sky. They all inherently care about one another and make the school a village for all.

I teach 200 strong and adorable juniors and seniors, half of which have limited English proficiency.

About twenty-percent of the remaining half have an IEP. Yet, it’s hard to tell who is struggling with what. That’s how great and committed they are! I love my students for who they are and appreciate their hard work.

My Project

Parents usually do not pay attention to school supplies that are essential to learning in the math classroom while school shopping. By default, they purchase ruled-paper, for instance, which is used for English composition and social studies, not mathematics. Since parents are generally unable to purchase a second set of supplies, having the supplies listed above will help me alleviate this burden on the parents and decrease the stress that students experience for not having the right supplies. This is will make a great difference and facilitate learning and teaching!
