Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of my students come from low-income homes, resulting in them not necessarily coming to school with the supplies they need to start the school year. Without the needed supplies, students struggle to keep up and feel embarrassed. The school supplies here will help give all students what they need to be organized, learning, and successful.
When students all start with the supplies they need, they can jump right into learning and growing.
All of these pencils, folders, copy paper, and other supplies help students learn and grow at school. The tent, fidgets, and other supplies for the calming corner also give students a safe space to learn how to regulate emotions and meet them where they are at.
