This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new teacher on campus, I’m excited to create a learning space that reflects the brilliance, creativity, and resilience my students bring with them each day. To support that vision, I’m requesting essential back-to-school supplies—like notebooks, pencils, and markers—so students can dive into learning with confidence.
With the right tools in hand, students can stay organized, express themselves, and bring their ideas to life.
These materials will help support the routines and relationships that build a strong classroom community—one that honors each student’s voice.
Notebooks will hold stories, problem-solving strategies, and plans for the future. Pencils will be used to draft goals, reflect on learning, and revise with purpose. Markers and pens will bring color, creativity, and movement to our shared work.
This project helps lay the foundation for a school year filled with connection, curiosity, and joy—because every student deserves to start strong and feel proud of the space they’re growing in.
