We know the beginning of a new school year can be nerve-racking, but remember, it’s also a chance to make a fresh start. There will be new students and new material. All of these factors contribute to a “clean slate.” Of course, feeling energized about a new school year has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with how well-organized you are when you start a school year.
Preparation for the coming school year is the key!
Many of my students come from low-income families. They struggle with prioritizing their various needs, and school supplies are just one of the items that they need to start the school year. Basic classroom needs like dry-erase boards, markers, clear tapes, whiteboard cleaner, and laminating sheets will help my classroom to have a successful year!
