My Project

I am coming back to the classroom after a two-year hiatus and need to refresh and restock my classroom and kiddos! I'm asking for beginning-of-the-year supplies for my students and myself, such as the coloring supplies and the whiteboard erasers (we can't have them using their hands to erase!). As I'm setting up a new classroom, I need to laminate lots of beginning-of-the-year stuff for my students and things to go up on the walls of my room. Multiplication is a huge concept my students need to have down pat to succeed in fourth-grade math; I plan to keep the requested multiplication chart right underneath my whiteboard as we will use and refer to it all the time in our math lessons. This year, starting on Day 1, I plan to incorporate social-emotional and life skills into our morning circle discussions and everyday lessons. The book by Sean Covey will help me teach my kids some great, valuable life skills this year!
