This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my classroom, I have a mixture of students who are new to high-school and some who are still newbies to high-school. However, no matter the status of their journey, high-school is still an important educational event in their lives. My students show up to class with a smile, and despite the challenges put forth, they are still eager to come to campus upon our return in the next few weeks. My student represent true leaders who will lead us in the future, and I am proud to advocate for them to secure the materials they need.
My Project
My project is geared towards helping new high-school students prosper in their high-school world. We are building the leaders of the future, and in order for them to succeed, we have to make sure they can focus on academics and not securing supplies.
In my class we do a lot of writing, so writing utensils and paper is a must need in my class!
We draft and pre-write and draw out our thoughts, so crayons, markers, and color pencils help aide in our writing process. Paper and cardstock helps us print out the necessary materials so students can have resources available to meet every learning style. Help me get my students back to the basics with regular school needs.
