My Project
As we kick off a brand-new school year, I want to make sure my kindergarteners have access to the tools they need to explore the world around them—starting with age-appropriate, engaging news and nonfiction reading.
One of the best resources for building early literacy skills while staying connected to current events is the Scholastic Let’s Find Out magazine.
This colorful weekly magazine introduces important topics like seasons, holidays, animals, and community helpers in ways that young learners can understand. Every issue is designed just for early readers and helps build vocabulary, listening comprehension, and background knowledge.
With this subscription, my students will not only enjoy reading but will also strengthen their ability to think critically, ask questions, and connect what they're learning in class to the real world. This is a true back-to-school basic for my classroom, helping to create a strong foundation for literacy and curiosity from the start.
