Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students here are excellent examples of wanting to learn by asking questions and finding answers. Although they are from a Title I school, they do not let any challenge keep them from learning. We have kids who do sports, participate in clubs, and work hard at keeping their grades up. When students need help, they do not shy from asking for it. Being a part of the student learning process has shown me that determination is something these students never let go of.
While working here I have seen great kindness, perseverance, and devotion to achieving goals students set for themselves.
Students know that when they need a pencil, paper, or tissue, they can always come to my room and grab what they need. Supplies are always kept on hand for students.
