Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 6th grade students have been greatly impacted by the pandemic. Their entire upper elementary learning experience has been back and forth between virtual and in person schooling with varying degrees of success and participation. While student engagement has increased since returning full time to in person this school year, students need additional motivators and incentives to extend learning outcomes.

Imagine an opportunity for students to learn through virtual reality and have access to visual learning opportunities from all over the world!

For example, how much better would World History be if kids could explore Ancient Rome and Greece, take a tour of the Imperial City or travel the Amazon. Students could do virtual science dissections or examine the natural world through a virtual microscope.

There is no limit to the amazing experiences my kids can have across all curriculums by using these virtual reality headsets!
