This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my classroom are curious and excited to learn. It is important for me to get to know each of my students to help them grow and learn. In the pre-k school year, children develop many important skills that will only get stronger as they move along their educational journey. In order to do this, the right materials and activities need to be available to them throughout the classroom. Learning centers are most successful when students are engaged. If you walk into my pre-k classroom, you will see students working independently or in groups in different learning centers. Many necessary skills are being strengthened in centers, such as fine motor skills, literacy skills, creativity, social emotional development, and even problem solving skills! With your help, I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to develop these skills by having these materials available to them.
