This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My sixth-grade students are some of the most inspiring, kindhearted people I know. It's a growth year for sure as they transition from upper elementary to middle school. Separately, they're pretty unsure of themselves, but together, they are a force to be reckoned with and spark the most vibrant class discussions.

As an educator of special needs students, I am constantly looking for ways to meet all my learners exactly where they are, regardless of grade level.

Thinking outside the box and presenting the same material my colleagues are in a manner that works best for my diverse set of students is a challenge I love to take on daily!

My Project

Remote learning kept us from hands-on instructional resources. While technology is great, there's something to be said about grabbing a pen or pencil, cutting some paper, and writing in an actual book.

These interactive notebook resources will be the staple of our in-person instructional time.

The composition notebooks are sturdy and sure to hold up to germy hands and antibacterial wipes. The colored paper adds a pop of color to our foldable activities and after a long, hard year, we could use the vibrant hues to brighten our school days! We go through a lot of liquid glue fastening our assignments to pages.
