Help me give my students the basics like hand soap, hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, and highlighters.

My Project

I am asking for funds so that I can start off School Year 2025-2026 with the basics; these are materials that we go through the most and very quickly.

Hand soap is used to wash our hands in class instead of going to the bathroom where they take going to the bathroom as an adventure!

My students are still putting their fingers in their mouths at this age and I constantly make them wash their hands.

Paper towels are to dry our hands and clean up messes. The brown paper towels the school provides are non-absorbent trash.

We also need hand sanitizer to keep those germs away!

We highlight texts a lot so we need highlighters..

Zip ties! Odd thing to request, I know. But I use them to zip tie the extra long computer charging cords as well as the headphone cords. Otherwise they become tangled messes.

Folders are to keep all their classwork and homework in one place

Storage bags are a classroom basic. It's crazy how many we go through. I use them to store headphones and the students use them for their weekly "Books in a Bag" reading choices for the week. The bags get nasty, gross, and ripped often so we are always changing them out.

Labels are to label all their books, folders, workbooks, etc.

Tissues! We went through so many boxes of tissues! The allergies, the sicknesses, the nose bleeds....we go through a box a week, sometimes every other day.
