This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need so much for our classroom! We are starting the third month of the school year and already we have run out of looseleaf paper, printer ink, pens and pencils. Oh, and did I mention that my stapler has gone missing?

My students come from a disadvantage that they often do not have basic schools supplies like pencils and looseleaf paper.

We are also asking for clipboards with storage so that my student aides are able to take attendance and keep accurate academic records. When moving from one classroom to another throughout the day, papers can go missing. The looseleaf paper, pens and pencils will help students finish their AP seminar writing project and the printer ink will come in handy when I am printing out newspaper articles.
