This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Who wouldn’t love my students? They are kind, creative, energetic and deserving of every good thing life has to offer. We are off to a strong start and having a ball getting settled into the new year.

We need some basic supplies like pens, white board erasers, and it would be nice to have some sports equipment for recess.

The speakers on the classroom projector don’t work, so we need speakers. It’s the little things that can help things go smoothly or cause much disruption. Not being able to hear videos and audio media is very frustrating for the students and can really disrupt learning opportunities.

At recess, students need to experience using sports equipment to learn how to play, problem solve and work as a team. If they have nothing to play with they may resort to rough housing and other unsafe activities.
