Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At the beginning of the school year I will start my journey in our school's dual language program! My students will be two groups of second graders who will be learning in both English and Spanish.

More students means I will need more supplies to get our students started off on the right foot.

We will need classroom basics such as pencils, a pencil sharpener, folders, notebooks, erasers, and markers to name a few. My students will also need bins to store their individual supplies because they will transition to the other class half way through the day. Having bins will allow them to easily transition between rooms while keeping everything they need for learning all in one place. Many of my students are not able to purchase new school supplies for themselves so we need your help to get them everything they will need to start the year off right.
