My Students

My students come from a high-poverty area. They face many challenges at home and in school. Many of them are lacking in basic school supplies. Most are low academically, but they come to school every day, ready and eager to learn.

I want my students to have the best third-grade experience possible.

Our school budget is very small, and I buy a lot of materials myself. I need some help to give my students what they need to be more successful in the classroom. I cannot control what my students experience outside of school, but, while they are in my classroom, I strive to provide them with everything I can to make them feel cared for and successful.

My Project

I am requesting some basic supplies to help keep our classroom up and running, as well as replace supplies that have become worn out.

These supplies include some of our daily essentials, like dry erase markers, erasers, headphones, and clipboards.

Because we use these supplies so often, they get a lot of wear and tear. We do our best to take care of all of our supplies but they are very well loved!

I am also asking for a paper cutter for our room that we can use for projects, notes, and interactive notebooks.
