This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The school that I am teaching at is an urban school in Connecticut. I could have up to 24 beautiful kindergarten students.

Kindergarten children are kind and innocent students who want to learn.

These little children are very active and fun-loving with open hearts and minds for learning.

However, we are in a 100% free breakfast and lunch school with many extreme school and district budget issues. One of the budget cuts in our district was our kindergarten classroom paraprofessional. This is a huge disservice for our kindergarteners.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning experience. Using the construction paper and crayons we will help culminate our literacy activities and bring their work alive in color and fun ways. Having new pencils will also motivate my little learners as well. As for having laminating paper, we will be able to save our students' finished work. Kindergarten children love to save their work!

By having these materials it will be beneficial in motivating my students throughout this learning process in creativity.

My students need to be able to express themselves and be proud of the work they have done.
