it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My math classroom has whiteboard tables and the students LOVE working on them. They can see their work, their peers' work, and it makes math just a little bit more fun. We show SO much work that we need plenty of whiteboard markers throughout the school year. I've ordered enough supplies so that EACH student can have a new, personal marker at the beginning of each quarter, and so that we still have a classroom supply.
These essential supplies help keep the classroom running smoothly by affording each student the basics for showing their math work, editing mistakes, and saving our work to see our progress throughout the year.
I like to provide these supplies so that regardless of a family's income, each student has quality supplies to help them succeed academically. Your generosity is an investment in the future leaders.
