This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very deserving and thankful for every opportunity given to them. I teach mathematics in a rural Alabama middle school that serves approximately 900 students. Fifty percent of our students are minority students. One-hundred percent of our students receive free school breakfast and lunch and some students receive food over the weekend through a volunteer-based "Blessings in a Backpack" program. Despite many hardships and obstacles, my students are hard-working and determined to succeed. Your donation helps my bright students grow into everything they are capable of becoming! Thank you!

My Project

Thank you for considering my classroom project. I am asking for a student printer for my students to be able to quickly and wirelessly print tutorials and practice math sheets. Our classroom also needs a wireless speaker in order to listen to mathematics tutorial videos and digital learning material. I am asking for additional individual classroom supplies to prevent frequent touching such as markers and tape for hands on learning projects. Our classroom also needs a small hand-held vacuum cleaner to keep our work areas tidy. I am so appreciative of the Donors Choose community for funding so many of my classroom projects and providing endless learning opportunities for my amazing students!
