Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the first year that photography is being offered at my school. SInce this is a new course, we are working to allocate resources to build the program. In teaching this course, one of my primary goals is to expose students the fundamentals, including composition, lighting, and editing. In addition to building a strong foundation, I aim to introduce them to various types of photography to broaden their understanding and spark potential interests.
Using tabletop background systems, students will have the opportunity to plan, compose, and create professional-quality images that can be added to their personal portfolios.
This hands-on experience will not only enhance their technical skills but also give them a glimpse into real-world photography applications.
By exploring different types of photography, students may discover a passion that could lead to a future career or a side job to help support their college education.
