This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me chase the winter blues away by crafting! Many of my students have never done crafts and have no idea of the joy creating something of your own can bring. We need construction paper, glue, glitter, watercolor paint, and scissors.

Many of my students don't know the joy of getting their hands sticky.

I often share personal stories of my childhood, and they all have getting dirty in common. Many of my students look at me and often respond with, "My mother would never let me do that," or "Eeewww. That's gross." I laugh and say, "Well it's time to have fun."
