Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been impacted by COVID-19 in lasting ways. One way my students have been impacted is their lack of organization skills. Many students at home have a harder time maintaining organization and having their first years of school (kindergarten/1st grade) being at home, it has made it difficult for them now to maintain organization. The materials I chose I hope to use to help my students keep track of their assignments and turn them in appropriately.
My room lacks boards on the walls, hence the mobile white board request and the window expos.
I plan to use the windows as dry-erase boards for learning targets and the focus/skill we will be working on during small groups. The flexible seating will benefit my students by helping their restless bodies focus during small group instruction.
