This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This school year, I have been blessed with a very enthusiastic bunch of fourth graders who are eager to learn. The only thing that seems to stand in their way is the label of being economically challenged. Not having the proper finances often keeps my students from having proper or sufficient class materials, money for field trips and sometimes it even prevents them from having the proper reading or class materials to take home to complete assignments.

My scholars deserve the opportunity to be the best they can be in all that they do, no matter their economic or social status.

My Project

I have chosen reward incentives that I know that students are highly interested in. They love candy, emoji items, pencil toppers and fun objects that spin. These incentives will be used to create a Class Dojo store in my classroom. As students earn points for being absolutely awesome, they will also earn the chance to shop at our Class Dojo store which will be located within our classroom. Our classroom store will hold students accountable for maintaining positive behavior at all times. They will be excited to go shopping every week and spend the points they earn on the treats they love.

Awesome Scholars deserve to earn the chance to shop in an awesome class store for awesome prizes to reward their positive behavior.
