Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is made up of emotional and heartfelt learners. They are fun, silly and hard workers who aim high in all they do. The students in my class have a fun loving side but can also be very worried and not have much confidence when it comes to reading and vocalizing their thinking. They are stubborn and do not give up easily and they fight to be the learners they know they can be even during difficult times outside of their hands. When they have resources they need at home they will use them to achieve goals.
My Project
These materials will help my students learn at home and provide manipulatives parents may not have. I need 24 so each of my students have the same opportunities as their peers. I will use these kits in small groups during Zoom for word work and vocabulary. During math, students will use the paper to make posters to remind them of strategies. We will use the magnetic board to record spelling words and show work. I also like that all of the materials come in a carrying case so students can stay organized.
