This project is fully funded

I am a kindergarten teacher at Walker-Gamble Elementary in New Zion, South Carolina. I have twenty-five students in my class who love bugs, fish, and all sorts of slimy things! We would love to have a large aquarium to place in our science center. The aquarium would be the student's responsibility to help set-up and maintain. They would be responsible for monitoring water levels, checking the filter quality, and daily feedings for the animals. The animals are the best part! We would like to have a newt, goldfish, snails, and a crab. The students would be able to observe the animals and how they interact with one another while gaining a sense of responsibility and ownership in the daily maintenance of the aquarium. The aquarium is a 12-gallon glass tank that has a submersible pump. Measuring the water as we add it to the aquarium will make a great math lesson!
