My Students

I am a teacher at a preschool located in Alabama. Many of my students come from low socioeconomic status backgrounds and face daily hardships as a result. I make it a point to ensure that they leave all of their problems and worries at the door. I work hard to make sure that when they enter into my classroom, they are focused on learning so that they can become productive contributing members to society.

My students love learning because I strive to make it a fun and enjoyable journey for them.

They love science and experimenting with new things through hands-on means. They are self-motivated to discover all they can in order to be successful in life.

My Project

As a PreK teacher, I am always looking for ways to make learning interesting and fun to four year olds. At four, they are always looking for adventure and wanting to play and explore new things daily. Having a classroom pet, is a necessity in the development of a child. Although, I am afraid of some animals, I love fish!

There are many benefits of having a classroom pet.

Children learn about animal care and compassion. Having a classroom pet also teaches responsibility. It also helps them learn about science and nature.

I would love to have this really cool aquarium table for them to be able to care for our classroom fish!
