This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is not just for my students but for all the students in my academy.

My academy includes 6th, 7th, and 8th graders both in general education and special day classes.

We will be holding an award ceremony a month before school ends to show appreciation to students who have done particularly well in each subject, students who have greatly improved, and students who exemplify what it means to be a successful, engaged student.

This assembly will be particularly exciting for our 8th grade students who will be able to wear their medals at their Culminating ceremony the following month.
