Help me give my students comfort and peace of mind by having a mini-fridge and microwave, so they can avoid large crowds in the cafeteria, reduce the risk of covid19, and eat safely in the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my self-contained special education classroom, there is a community of learners of diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and grade levels. They are kind, resilient, and exceptional students interested in a wide range of activities from urban planning to basketball.
Your gift will give my students with disabilities the opportunity to learn in ways that best fit their needs and help them maintain safe physical distance from their peers.
The students in my special education class have mild to moderate intellectual, cognitive, and physical disabilities. Our class is made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. Each student is unique, creating a diverse group of learners in my class with varying interests, strengths, abilities, and learning styles.
As a special education teacher, I work every day to find solutions and resources to help develop my students' academic, communication, and social skills while keeping them safe from COVID-19.
My Project
My students are anxious about the return to school and large crowds. I am trying to make my classroom a "home away from home" to ease the transition back to school and try to lower the chances of my students getting sick. I would like for my students to eat lunch in the classroom so they can avoid large crowds and stay safe from COVID-19. Students will not have to leave the comfort of the classroom to enjoy their lunch. Please help us achieve our goals of staying safe and comfortable in our classroom.
