My Project
In Forensics 2, students will take on the role of medical examiners as they conduct full autopsies on fetal pigs in a week-long, immersive experience. This hands-on lab will guide them through the full autopsy process, from external examination to internal dissection, mirroring real forensic pathology procedures.
Throughout the week, students will systematically analyze internal structures, identify key organs, and determine possible causes of death.
This enriching experience will deepen their understanding of human anatomy, forensic pathology, and investigative techniques while reinforcing critical thinking, attention to detail, and proper documentation—essential skills in forensic science.
