Help me give my students calming sensory equipment. I have multiple students on the autism spectrum. In order to keep their behaviors in control they do much better with different types of sensory resources like a swing.

My Project
I am so lucky to have such an amazing class this year. I try to make the environment in my room as calming and welcoming as I can. Students on the autism spectrum feel so much more relaxed with sensory items. They love to swing (the hammock chair will give them this option indoors) and do anything with pressure such as body socks and different seating options (the peapod chair). They also like low lighting and small safe spaces like sensory tents. My nonverbal children will be able to communicate better with the Ablenet quicktalker communication device. Being able to tell you what you want or need is priceless and greatly reduces stress and behavior issues. Various sensory toys also help to reduce anxiety. Having these items available in the classroom helps them to be in a mood that is more favorable to learning. Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated.
