My Project

My students are in the Autism program and all have different sensory needs and unique rhythms. Over the years we have been working on a safe/successful sensory room for them to help with regulation, and creating a calm space. The specific items requested will make a difference in their learning by allowing them to have more sensory options to improve self-regulation and enhance communication, academic learning and overall excitement to be at school.

My goal for this project is to fill our sensory room with activities and furniture that is useful to my students.
