Autism Professional Learning and Development

I need Certified Autism Specialist professional development and Assessment in order to sharpen my knowledge about Autism, which will help me better support my students who have autism, as well as their families and other teachers.

My Students

My students are wonderful, amazing, K-6th graders who attend Special Education Classes in North Carolina. My students love to learn and love to see themselves meet their goals. I always say my students are the hardest working students in the whole school because although they often face many educational challenges they never give up. They never say "I can't," or "I won't." They just keep on going with big smiles on their faces. My students inspire me to be a better teacher every day!

My Project

It is said great teachers never stop learning. I would love to learn how to better support my students that have Autism, as well as their families and other teachers in order to help them be more successful in and outside the classroom. I love teaching Special Education students and would love to have the tools to better support students with Autism.

This training and certification would help bring me peace of mind knowing I am doing what is best for my students in and outside the classroom.

The Online Autism Training and Certificate program will help provide me with professional development classes in order to understand my students that have Autism and be able to better serve them.

It will also allow me to obtain a certificate that will ensure parents that I am trained on how to better serve their child. I am always looking for ways to become a better teacher and I truly believe this will help me and my students in so many ways. Please consider helping me learn how to better help my students.
