My Project

My classroom is consisted of students who have either Specific Learning Disabilities or Autism. The school that I teach in is a Title 1 school; therefore, I am limited on the amount of school supplies and other resources that I can provide for my students.

Students who have Autism and other disabilities need a variety of supplies and resources to be successful in the classroom.

The sensory fidgets that are being requested will help lesson frustration while completing difficult tasks in the classroom. The math and reading manipulatives will provide them with hands on activities to help them improve on their academic skills. The social and emotional books will help them improve their social-emotional skills and learn how to deal with events that occur in their daily life. All other items requested will be used for learning games and basic classroom necessities. Please help me provide the best learning experience for my awesome students!
