This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, even when communication and understanding can sometimes feel challenging for them. As a teacher serving students with autism and other neurodivergent needs, I want to create a classroom where every child feels supported and successful.

The autism communication cards will give them a voice, helping them express needs, emotions, and ideas.

These resources will turn our classroom into a more engaging, organized, and accessible space where each student can thrive and grow their independence. I am requesting 5 so we can have 1 for each staff member in our room to keep on their lanyards - so we always have the language/visual at our fingertips when working with our students.
