This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a Special Education (SPED) Teacher is challenging, but I want to be the best that I can be to be able to overcome those ever-changing challenges. The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) provides a Certified Autism Specialist™(CAS) program for professionals who are responsible for providing services or support to individuals who have autism. Their training and certification program focuses on best practices in the following areas: Autism Overview, Behavior, IEP and Program Development, Early Childhood Identification, Parent Communication, and Comorbidities. I am also asking for some technology accessories to make the professional development easier, like laptop cases, mouse pads, and adapters.

These IBCCES professional developments will help me continue to be a Super SPED Teacher!
