Help me give my students and staff members items to raise awareness for autism awareness month in April.

My Project

April is autism awareness month! It is important to me to be able to provide an information session for those in my school. With the increasing population of individuals with autism, it is so important to educate students and staff members about those with autism. Students with autism often have sensory needs.

It is important to ensure all of their sensory needs are met by addressing each of their 5 senses.

Each item in this project directly correlates to one of the five senses. Your donation will allow me to educate students and adults in my school about individuals with autism.

They will learn ways to address each sense. For example, tactile stickers for the sense of touch. Delicious candy for taste. Create wind chimes for hearing. Choose a candle for smell. Decorate a picture frame to place a picture in for sight.

This project would mean a lot to the students in my school who are diagnosed with autism. It will help bring awareness and acceptance within the school building for all kids.
