My students need examples of authors to be able to create inspiring writing pieces.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. DeBerry's classroom raised $319
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are the inquisitors of the world! They seek things with all resources they have been taught to use. With some of the challenges they face, they try their hardest to problem solve and figure out answers on their own. They want more of that type of learning and should learn in a comfortable environment. I teach at a Title I, suburban area school in South Carolina where all students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch.
As Bulldogs, our students believe we should be responsible for our actions, treat others with respect and dignity, and lastly, strive daily to be the best scholars they can be.
My Project
Throughout the years, I have used literature as mentor texts as examples for students to create writing pieces. What better way to accomplish this than to see how other authors create books! If this project is fully funded, students will be able to have examples to create inspiring and engaging writing pieces that they can celebrate. Celebrating with friends, peers, family members and even to the grades younger than them by sharing their creations. All students enjoy expressing themselves, through talking to each other and writing on a piece of paper.
This project will help my students be the best writers they can be.
These books will provide ample examples of writing skills authors use in published books. They will use these books to go through the writing process and create published writing pieces.
