My Project
We spend an hour and a half engaged in small group reading centers daily. While I am teaching a small group how to read, the remainder of the class is scattered around the room engaged in independent reading, spelling, and writing activities.
At one of the writing stations, students get to go to the writing table.
They often fold 4-5 sheets of paper together and ask me to staple them so that they can write their own book.
We are requesting blank books so that students will stop asking me to staple sheets of paper together. These books will be placed at the writing table for students to write and illustrate.
